Food Faces
Inspired by my son’s first encounters with solid foods, I discovered an unexpected medium: food! I use an eclectic mix of ingredients—juicer pulp, macaroni, herbs, eggs, spices, canned fish, frozen mangos, and anything I can get my hands on—to create faces with stories to tell.
This red lip makes my eyes pop.
Either that or I have jaundice.
Once upon a time, in the Land of Root Vegetables, there lived a magnetic princess. She had beet pulp for hair and a crown made of thyme. Her left eyelid was stuck in the middle position so it was neither opened or closed. She didn’t seem to mind so no one mentioned it.
